Team can research Tier 2 Advanced Personnel Deployment. Team receives special artillery chassis that has two seats. With special personnel cannon equipped, firing artillery with occupied second seat launches the occupant through the air with the same trajectory of an artillery shell, presumably inside an artillery shell, like a "vehicle" in HL2 (think of the combine pod things). These shells will do substantially less damage to vehicles and buildings and deal very minor splash damage. To counter griefing and exploiting, the shell is "locked" until a few seconds after impact. Additionally, the occupants of the deployment shells would not be able to see anything until landing, only their HUD. Team can research extended range cannon for extreme lyfar teammate launching. If the artillery fires with researchable air cannons, the infantry will be shot out like circus clowns (not in a shell). Impact with enemy personnel negates falling damage. All other landings will potentially result in insane gibbing. Directly hitting vehicle strips armor for one side and damages the vehicle hull. Parking an APC next to an extended range air cannon sighted on the enemy CV is an extremely viable tactic.
