Here some sound replacements for buildings I made (form existing sounds, credits to all artists) , (2.25 finally allowes custom sound lenghts): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=IT1PQDA1 secondary link: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1873542/sound.rar If you want to make your own ambience sounds, here a short what to do/what not: Get audiacity/goldwave/whatever sound prog, cut it at the right places so that they loop since YOU CANT USE CUES for the replacements, (while maps need cues to loop sounds, it won't work with building sounds, it would add the sound everytime it starts, playing 2,3,4,5 times at once ... you get the idea) press save as, then save in WAVE+MONO format (pcm signed; depens on the soundprog), and as many bits you want, but everything under 16 bits end in noticable bad quality, name the file "ambience.wav", (for engineer buildings also "engineer.wav") building sounds are in empires/sound/buildings/[building] If you like, feel free to post your replacements /replacements i uploaded: armory: Starwars elevator theme (Family guy) barracks: Ike Ike vesion para-para (Hinoi team) engineer: A short scene from rozen maiden () radar: Can't find it anymore, but some Hatsune Miku techno sound (if you recognize it, pls tell me) refinery: Intermission (The Offspring) requested by Kylegar, vf: Lenlow (J-Lo vs K-Co vs S-W2o)
