current problems: -2/3 of the map (first and last third) unused, because once gameplay gets to that stage the game is decided. -tunnels virtually unused -attacking penalised by risking tickets. leads to static gameplay and artificially lengthened games. -new players which use up tickets can cost the team the game. proposed solution -remove tickets from gameplay -longer respawn punishes deaths and rewards revives instead -riskier tactics, such as sending squads through the tunnels now viable because ticket loss not such an issue. also, limit turrets to lev 2 max. this means that the turret upgrade skill isn't obsolete and there's still tactics in upgrading, but turrets won't dominate as much. grenade spam still an issue. do NOT discuss that here.
i have to say this for you, ... ... i'd love to try out that idea in genaral. i only really know empires since 2.12 was it ever without tickets?
tickets do bring an impossible or long game to an end, when it could otherwise stagnate. they mercy kill teams on the back foot with no hope of getting out, and they sometimes rarely allow a team on the back foot a possibility of survival... winning on tickets. i dunno, i just think that generally tickets arn't terrible. i wouldn't mind seeing that once you get to 0 tickets, each person that respawns has to wait 3 seconds longer (so that'll really rack up fast), so each team isn't afraid to attack and no player is left out on their own.
what about increasing spawn times every 5-10 death (only on respawn)? like adding a multiplier? 1+0.5 per 5 death? smthing like that DoTA does that (a wc3 map/mod) i think it feels good and creates something like running out of tickets ... it gets the other team time to finish an attack
How is it possible that district is at the brush limit??? I bet if someone would clean it up he could save hundrets of brushes.
I have the 1.073 version kicking around me and caggers stuck it up on a server for 2.12... prob would have to decompile and recomplile for 2.2 though. You could get on the roofs a few places.... not officially though. It was a lot easier to get up as NF too.
Bad inefficient mapper that wanted to make extremely complex shapes using lots of tiny boxes. So yes, probably fixable. Are you volunteering? I don't have time.

You can't get on the roofs anymore they are all playercliped off the best you can do is turret walk around the edges.
