there are a couple. I messed around with a couple drummer was working on, it just needs some work with the logic to get it to count laps :D
yeah there are 3 that are done map wise, just needs the logic made and spawns and such for laps, winners etc....
Blight made an awesome one, but could never be bothered to finish it. But the map looked phenomenal. I'll go take a few screenshots, I still have it on my system I think.

I remember it, pre-vehicle spawner era...... Trying to figure out some logic to create some rounds, starting count down with lights and such. Could do rainbow road with speed boosts and such, o man the possibilities...
You can use trigger_multiples set to detect players in vehicles to detect vehicles. I used it on emp_2fort to make vehicle doors.
Player controllable (button to begin the sequence) starting lights would be enough, I made one airboat race map for sourceforts once, though it might be too cramped for empires jeeps. A bit unfinished, but basic geometry & displacement work done: Woohoo for the good ol' radeon 9600 pro, great fps!
That looks epic. You should empiresify it. Also Pastori, now that Midbridge is nearly finished and final, do you think you could bless us with another map?
