    the gyrocopters were probably the most useless unit in the game.

    They were actually pretty good. Great against air and cheap in the later patches at least - 90/30/1. You could get loads of those and they could attack ground too with the upgrades.

    Yup, try following the directions on my sound thread thingy...or

    First download GCF scape program, then go to the steamapps file and find the GCF files for Empires, then extract the whole game (the 3 Empires GCF files) into a new source mod folder (may take awhile) rename the mod file "empires" without quotes, then follow instructions below.

    How to install: Take your sound files and go to C:\Program files\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\empires\sounds and search for the correct sound file folder and replace the originals with these ones. Make sure to backup the originals just in case. (Restart steam for changes to take effect)
