SoF unplacable ref

I can't ever place the top left most ref as NF. happened on multiple occasions.

 

Happens to me and most the commanders on that map

Can BE place on the NF base Ref?

 

i can confirm that. i never saw a NF ref at this location (yes BE can place one).

how? I played Sof many times and each time com couldnt place it. Some coms said that it was because of be apc but thats bs, its just a model am i right?

yes it can.

Its not ammo box blockage because I found this a while ago and it was on a empty server right after a map change. I was switching the bases and while NF couldn't place one on the top left ref BE could place one there no problem.

 

I have always forgot about this map bug, this is not the ref BE starts with but the next closest one to their base (at the end of the road). I have not been able to place that ref as NF for a lonnnnnng time (I can't think of any time during the beta it could be placed). Can't believe I never remember to post about it.

 

So its a feature since no team has a ref 'inside' their base?

 

I think it's the game that won't let you place the ref because there's a collision model of a nearby model inside the build area. Has anybody tried rotating the refinery when placing it?
