So me and my friend are trying to play...

    Here is my question.

    I have two seperate accounts.

    One owns a ton of games and half life 2.

    The other only has team fortress 2.

    Can my friend play empires? (download the sdk base?)

    Also, do I have to download half life 2 again? Or just download the sdk base I have access to?

    sdk base is fine (as long as it's the orange box version).

    Yes. TF2 runs off of the Orange Box, so you do get the SDK download.

    Just check the tools section of steam, if you can't find it there.. You can't play.
