    A new version has been uploaded to the server with the following fixes:

    -Fixed: crash bug where a refinery that has no attached resource point will crash the server when it is destroyed
    -Fixed: crash bug with an unbuilt barracks getting destroyed
    -Fixed: crash bug with physics entities on map end
    -Modified: commanders are no longer notified when an engineer building is built
    -Modified: increased scout rifle damage to 110 (was 60)
    -Modified: lowered RPG damage to 80 (was 105)
    -Modified: lowered mortar damage to 110 (was 120)
    -Modified: sabotaged buildings must now be repaired for 50 units of health to be repaired (was 10)
    -Modified: sabotaging a building places it health to 100 units of health (was 185) if its health is greater than 100 at the time of the sabotaging
    -Fixed: turrets would target the commander's camera in the commander interface

    I knew it! that's why all those turrets were facing the sky.

    Scout rifle could be a little overpowered again.

    Mortar+rpg: ideal for noobs that wouldn't kill any tank without such handicap for tanks. But it got fixed and I don't think that it will be changed (I'm almost sure).
    Dee: it isn't you just need to run around or jump. Reloading scout rifle takes lot of time and 1 scout rifle shot isn't enough to kill.

    Scout rifle can indeed kill in one shot.

    yeha, one head shot, those are hard with the speed these guys move at. CRD Canyon is my scout map, I only play scout so I can see how it goes and its no walk in the park.

    I think the binocs are broken, dosent show enemy units.

    I think the binoculars should be able to see further through the fog than you normally can, that would be a definate bonus.

    Hey,thats a great idea!
    Since atm,just like in the old BF days,the binoculars arent that usefull,just for calling in arty fire

    Aren't scout units capable of further sight in RTS games? Scout classes could turn into recon units for arty targets, more than just sneaking into the enemy base and sniping enemies.

    That is a good idea. And it doesn't sound all that hard to do either. You can already use fog_override console commands to change the fog distance, I suppose it could be done something like that. The only problem is, some maps use fog to hide the z-clip plane (where things stop getting drawn). If you push the fog too far, you'll start seeing holes through some maps.

    I like it... unless some1 attacks me with a scout in close distance. It canĀ“t be that a SNIPER is an ultra-rawr-rusher-one-shot-one-kill-machine! It should be like that: the closer you get to your target, the lesser the damage. That would keep the scout-rifle as sniper and not as a i-jump-directly-in-front-of-you-and-kill-you-with-one-shot-weapon!

    the scout rifle isn't supposed to be a sniper rifle.

    What happened to the idea of making it a burst fire weapon.

    Well, the scout CAN use other guns, so if the scout rifle doesn't work out, it could just be removed entirely.

    IMHO you're wrong especially when you look at scout rifle animation.

    It's not really an opinion. It's been said plenty of times that it's not supposed to be a sniper rifle.

    well it is a sniper rifle, its even better than the scout in counter-strike
