Server Say Triggers

Hello. I was wondering if anybody knew how to write a script for server say triggers.

For instance a player would type "rank" and the server would output "don't be a statwhore!"

How can this be done? How can this be done so only the player sees the response?

cwevan, you'll need mani admin plugin for this (eg. that's what the BSID servers use for this purpose).

 

I've got mani installed and working. What file do I configure for say triggers?

bump. also, how do I make a server appear to have players on it with the -1 time bots? bots_add, bot_quota, etc says it needs sv_cheats 1

Please don't use it just because you want to have some players on your server. It's the saddest option available to make people join your server. (and it can piss you off after joining and seeing empty server)

 

I just want it to make the server appear when people have the "only show servers with people" filter turned on.

 

But the reson that they have that box flagged is becous they don't want to join a empty server, so why bother?

However, I would still like to know how to do both.

 

spend 5 minutes just to join a server, only to find that it's only you and some bots.... HATE. every single player hates that since the dawn of time, even in HL1 when connecting took only 10 seconds.

 

Please don't respond to this thread saying how much you hate it. Not the issue here.

I'm not saying I am going to use it, I just want to know how to do it.
