inb4encouragingpeopletobescunts At the moment, all of the classes have a means of directly damaging enemy armor, except for Scout. Grenadier gets mortar, RPG, and mines; Rifleman gets sticky bombs; Engineer gets calculator and missile turrets; Scout has sticky stuns, which doesn't cause any actual damage, and depend on the help of other people to be effective. Idea: Give Scout the ability to sabotage vehicles, reducing their overall effectiveness in combat and slowly destroying them. Sabotaging a vehicle shouldn't have major direct effects, just slow it down and make it more vulnerable to damage, and reduce firing speed, while taking x% hull damage per second. Pairing sabotage with sticky stuns can be used as a powerful 1-2 punch against vehicles. Pros: Makes scout a viable class for disabling vehicles Cons: More scunts
yes for this. no infantry class can cause sustained damage on a vehicle without redundantly destroying it. scouts should retain low vehicle destruction capability but reducing vehicle effectiveness would be interesting.
I don't see why ther ewould be more scunts, as in order for this to be effective you would have to need things like speed in order to quickly move to abandoned vehicles; or sab a vehicle when an engineer tries to repair it. However, it is not like I would use this except on a few rare occasions.
hahaha plz implement this to troll scouts, cant wait to run them over while they try to sab my tank :D
Please don't be in furious anger just because stickies destroy your tanks, I would actually like this implemented for the sorry folks who leave their tanks around and take a bullet into their face, why I might be even talking to one!
Oh, dude it would be worse if they could do that and mess with the primary/secondary button assignments HAHA.
Although it is good to make scout more useful class then it was, (I already noticed it with sniper rifle.) but guys... Sticky stun bomb. Use it. It is sometimes more effective than it's 'little brother' the sticky bomb.
Sticky stuns are like the Plasma weapons for tanks. Saying that, wheres the bio nade (inb4itwouldbeoverpoweredoninfantryonlymaps)?
