got old really quick. I used to play that waiting for empiresmod. Got banned from their irc channel an hour before release for posting loli too. I don't know, but a vote feature + noobs + 1000k noob maps just doesn't mix well, call me old fashioned, but it just doesn't.
I only have the PS2 version, so no (though the PS2 version does have built in 2 player freeroam & rampage, which is kinda fun). If I had a PC version of SA I'd try it out.
Well I found a copy of the PC version of SanAn & bought it, downloaded Multi-theft Auto & jumped on a racing server. First impression, the harrier & the heli is damn hard to fly on the PC versions. I do like the replay feature & the ability to add custom tracks though.
That is one reason to have a USB gamepad device that isn't a playstation controller but looks like one and has the same button layout.
I fly and drive with the directional keys, and still make it top-racer in all classes, but I do agree with dizzyone in one aspect... nearly everyone there is stupid, overly censoring, overly stupid, censoringly stupid, and brainnumbingly stupid. And stupid.
Are there any other online mods out there? because I've seen some videos on Youtube with a bunch of people playing DM & running down other players & whatnot as well as talks here & there of role playing servers. Nevermind I found it.
I used to admin and play on a roleplay server called GFRP, which I was also one of the founders of. We had a good run for about a year and were the most popular server for a few months. Couldn't ask for better platform for roleplay than GTA. Not sure if there are any serious servers left though.
I can't figure out how to get the character that I want on a roleplaying server, I mean I pick the model, register the name, & I always spawn as a clown, I want the Quantum Man Hobo D: . I usually just play TDM or DM, even though it takes forever for shots to register.
