Has anyone used an RPG like a mortar and killed someone with it? What I mean is... Shoot an RPG towards the direction of the target (while holding down tracking), but towards the sky at an angle. Depending on the distance of the target, after a certain amount of time looking at the sky, you suddenly make sharp movement of the crosshair towards the ground. The RPG would be going towards sky box, but suddenly fly towards the ground and hopefully will land right on top of a target.. sortve like..
I do that when I want to hook the missle around a corner that is too tall to rpg over. iv made kills that way, funny as hell.
Once or twice, but that's compared with the other 300 times I've missed. It's very very difficult to time right. But it's good practice for getting vehicles that went round a corner, so that's why I do it, even though I know I probably won't hit them. It's a case of how close I can get. Infantry are smaller than vehicles.
first rpg kill on infantry ive gotten was done this way over a wall, hitting an orange diamond I love making riflemen puffs of smoke:
I do use rpg vs inf ,if im forced to or the other guy is idling, but curving the rocket vertically, instead of just horizontally for dodging targets (unless its behind rock or wall) is plain stupid. Also, doing it after the round starts, just for lols sake.
I'll use the rocket against people when I get the jump on them for the lols, but I don't use it as a makeshift mortar. There's much easier ways to get dug-in infantry.
Never tried that because usually a straight shot will do it. I do hook it in to hit vehicles running away on the side armor though.
speaking of which.. I am STILL getting pushed around by other players... what I mean is its almost hard collision still. Once I got STUCK in a player and the bastard was dragging me around the map.
