Instead of having to pick revive as a skill perhaps it could be put on the engineer class permanently. Revive is one of the engineers primary uses it would also eliminate the issue where new players never get revive and when some players simply forget to equip it. An engineer without the ability to bring players back to the battlefield and and carry on fighting is kind of useless.
Nah, most of your ideas are good but this one would ruin the first 5-10 minutes of the game. People either get revive or rep upgrade and either has its risks, but they ALWAYS get the other as their second skill.
