How about each team have a research building with a type of flag or inteligence inside. if someone from your team makes it inside their intelligence building and grabs their intelligence and makes it back to your intelligence building alive then you gain some of their research. and if you destroy the other teams research building , their research stops until it's rebuilt. make it so that you cannot enter a vehicle while carrying the intelligence.
The idea is to destroy your enemy, not keep them alive so you can run back and forth from their base to yours
perhaps make it only a scout job. i think it would make for good gameplay all around. when the scout steals a teams intelligence it will lure several of that teams tanks and infantry to the open , where the scouts team is waiting. then all hell breaks loose and there's an opening to destroy their base while everyone is chasing the scout.
could only have it on certain maps to see what people think of it at first. and staplergun can go play on another server when that map starts.
Or hijack their tanks right? I know the idea of the game. what good is a scout anyway. i think this would be much easier to code than the laser ear idea that's being tossed around. and makes as much if not more sense. if the game is only about anhialating your enemy, then why not just start everyone out with nukes and all the research finished? because the game isn't only about anihalating the enemy, it's also about strategy and cunning.
