For the record, the recent reports from me were on Sitka's shitposts (1-3 I can't remember now there's too many) and Spartacus' cat gif which was the first reply to Ikalx's suggestion thread. I apologise for trying to make this forum a better place.
Oh man, I can relate. I went through the same phase. It's like, "Omg, can we get some consistent and clear moderation in here?" And then the mods are like, "nah, I thought that post was fine. Don't bother me unless it's something gory or illegal." At first, you're like, "that's weird, but ok." Then they still ban people for making "shitposts," a fantastical term that is defined as any post by someone that the mods don't like for that afternoon. After that, you have a cognitive dissonance on your hands so you need to cope by ignoring the inconsistent moderation entirely & posting gifs.
And then everyone makes up mysterious bans where community members who never existed get permabanned for the slightest thing, when in reality the worst that ever happens is a 1 to 3 day ban once in a blue moon.
That's totalitarian. What we have now is anarchism, like a pirate ship sort of thing. You don't have to fall into extremes. But I know how hard balance is, I can' really hold anything against any mod.
I'm actually very unsociable outside of this website, I'd probably just pretend nothing happened even if he shoved a joint into my front door's keyhole.
