How about it? It would make you rely on Intel a lot more than you do now. It would also possibly prolong firefights seeing as both sides don't know if they killed someone or not.

If this was too happen, you would probably have to add some sort of message that pops up when a teammate dies. Kind of like Insurgency when it says something like "Noobasaur was KIA".

I think this might add some much needed depth to infantry combat, and it would make it really hard to tell if you were being effective unless you have visual.

Not a huge suggestion, but it kind of is. Opinions?

    Go scout with silencer. Profit?

In effect, I think it's a pretty bad idea - you usually still look around for a scout with silencer, unless you really know you've killed him adding that much more to confusion and unconfidence. It's not really good for the team if every time they try to move forward or engage, they run around for five minutes checking to see if they've killed everyone.

Doesn't seem like it would help anything at all tbh.

No kill notifications is pretty much only good in realistic modern FPSes.

Being half RTS, the strategy of Empires is based on intelligence; ie talking while dead, big maps, squad play.
No kill notifications doesn't fit Empires.

And in an RTS game, while you don't get kill messages, it still is pretty damn obvious when you've killed someone or they killed you. Empires isn't exactly a game of sneaking around and all the bullets do like 101% damage, so it wouldn't be as good here as it is in insurgency.
