Back in 2.12 the engineer was able to start building something up, hold primattack, open a menu, stop holding primattack, and was from that on "autofire" building things (and of course autofiring everything) until pressing primattack again. I suggest reimplementation as bindable console command, because it was quite usefull, knowing you are building stuff and simultaneously checking the MAP, smoking a cigarrette, fucking around in console, relaxxing the fingers, etc. I'd like it to be like 'bind MOUSE3 auto_calc' PROs: - re-adding comfortability to the calculator - preventing me from writing a messy autofire-script (primattack; wait; primattack; wait...) - might be not to hard to code - wouldnt look as abusive as before :D CONs: - tell me any plz
I just suggest it, because it was there before. And even the guy who removed it (can't remember who did, look in mantis if it interests anybody), said might be practical for reimplementation but done in an other way.
1. Create autobuild.cfg in your cfg-folder. 2. Put this in it: alias build_t "build_on" alias build_on "alias build_t build_off; slot4; wait; wait; +attack" alias build_off "alias build_t build_on;-attack ; wait; wait; lastinv" bind "a" "build_t" a can be replaced with every other key. 3. Execute the following command in the console: exec autobuild.cfg 4. Ingame, press a or whatever key you bound it to.
OMG und sowas kreierst du FREITAGS nach feierabend? Das kostet doch mindestens eine minute Gehirn!! Also mein code säh anders aus... :D
yes it was usefull, u could stand inside the VF, repair and create your tankloadout ... im for reimplementig it too ... plz :D
1. Its not even made by me. Someone else made it, but I cant remember who was it. 2. "OMG" How do you dare to write in a foreign language in an english forum? 3. If you are so 1337z0r with coding n stuff, how about just show us the way that is "right" in your eyes? 4. However, I don't think that "code" needs to be any more complex. It does its work and thats it. [/raeg]
