So a camera or radar would easily detect enemy on lower ground if it was placed somewhere high. If it was at even level with the enemy, it should be at the default range. I think this would increase more stragetic play and also let players put terrain into some nice uses to get an uper advantage. The team that hold let say, a hill, would be stronger due to the hard to reach aspect of it and the extra defenses the defender would get. I could say that this might be too powerful though, as someone from a hill could easily observe a person below and get a nice shot at them enough already. But first, i want to see how you guys feel about this.
We did discuss before giving the radar structure a LOS based tracker as well as the current one, meaning if you put it on a big hill you get a bonus, and you can avoid it by keeping to canyons and things. That would mainly be for the scaled maps though, not really needed on the current ones.
