I'm sick of seeing shitty threads with 5 words in the OP and a poll. Please don't just ask for people's opinions when you start your thread, express your own opinions, ideas etc. Feel free to post something you're not sure will be approved of, we have a billion and one retarded suggestions so if you make another terrible one nobody will care, plus it's more interesting to read through interesting solutions to empires' problems. Also please for the love of god stop making threads simply asking for people's opinions. Do your part, stop making shitty threads so the forum is more interesting to read through. its a drag to argue about topics that get argued in 10 threads at the same time. make it a rule in the suggestion forums that there is only one thread per topic allowed. another one is only allowed if a reasonable timespan has passed (whereas reasonable is the moderators decision) hope i didnt leave a loophole open for hamster with this
there also needs to be a rule to make spartacus not misinterpret posts. seriously, where did anyone say anything about more suggestions?
I just don't like seeing people make a thread called "Commanders" or "Scouts" and then not suggest any improvements or bring anything new to the debate.
Perhaps Empty only meant that sucky suggestions were better than pure discussion threads, but it's still there: And believe me, I will remember and reference that comment in the future. If Empty says it's ok, then I don't want to hear any more "No, this is retarded" or "Go kill yourself" when someone makes an honest suggestion.

Yes, we need more quality threads in the offtopic forum. Also ban Devourawr and ImSpartacus. You can't go wrong with that.
I didn't say you won't get the feedback you deserve, nor did I say you could make shit threads. I would rather have 10 awful suggestions that have had more than 2 seconds thought go into them than 1000 suggestions that are 2 words long.
Maybe we should consider going through the suggestions forum and merging all the duplicate threads, there's close to 4000 threads in there, i bet at least 1/10th are duplicate. Once you clean them up and remove the spam/off topic posts, it'll be easier to search through.
Some people just need to stop being horrible persons, with horrible insights. "Being on the forums makes you a grumpy old man" is still a sentence full of truth.
I think we should ban both FN and paradox, so we don't get stupid suggestions and threads that beat around the bush about how awesome FN/Paradox are.
