Just remember to add text between different clips. Like when you are going to show the commander view there should be text before it like: "See the commander view without any loads." Or something... Just reminding because trailers without texts look lame and failed.
I didn't meant to be rude or anything. The case is just that trailers without any texts look quite plain. If you take a look to the game trailers of commercial games, they normally have some sort of texts in them always or someone speaking there. Making a good trailer could be compered to making a good song. You have to arrange everything correctly to make it sound (look when talking at trailers) good. That's why I would like to see some text in there so it wouldn't be just one big video clip packet tied together very carefully with nice music and other stuffs.
Don't worry Weedy, it has plenty of texts :D As a matter of fact, that's what I'm trying to work out right now. I'm trying to get something that sums up the story without going too in-depth or essay-like. I think I have something that works, now I'm just trying to un-cheesify it. Oh, and I require some shots of arty, maybe someone could join the server tonight and help me out, or I could start my own server and have someone join (it's not a solo job, unfortunately, but it'll only require a few people).
for getting into the story, start with something like "in a once peaceful Empire" (show people walking around) "war broke out" (resume normal trailer programming)
