Sonecha was the best boomtanker Empires had by a huge margin, and I still rate him as the best player to play the game. I miss him more every day.
Grantrithor Pros I keep my cool as long as everything is working properly(lol greatest superpower ever). I space turrets out in curving shapes. I never use walls (I let engies decide it for themselves) I give individual players unique targets, and I usually target those who are in a vantage point, not the closest enemy. Cons I lose my cool when things aren't working properly. Run on sentences. I don't like managing people.
Me Pros If my team listens to me I usually win 5+ years of commanding experience I micromanage my players, drop armories and walls when they need them I listen to players who find themselves in an advantageous position and help them execute their plan I've got the best spots for turrets memorized for loads of maps, and I use walls tactically to make it easier for my team to push If I know players' skills on my team, I'll request them specifically for a certain task. Smart people will do this task because they trust my expertise Cons If my team contains OMGSUPERVETS that just do stuff on their own I usually lose Rusty on research Don't know a lot of the current players so I'll have problems picking the right people for the right job EDIT: Haha this all reminds me of the first versions of Empires, no one wanted to command because you'd crash all the time. Me and dizzyone were once comming against each other and half of our job was to re-enter the game as quickly as possible after we crashed. I remember a particular game on Isle where both of us crashed about 10 times in a single round, that was tense as fuck
