dude, 1 mb is 8 mbps, that is quite a lot in some countries.
here in Canada the norm is 500 kb/s, but there are only 2 main companies that like to throttle you down.

 

Thats because their updates are more than particles.

Scripts require no skill to produce.
If you find our script production isn't done well, you can do it yourself and submit it.

 

How about you, suck my dick. The only people who think scripts require no skill are the people who are incapable of doing it decently. It's not difficult to create some, but 99% of people are incapable of making something even remotely logical, fun or balanced.

Actually I think it as well and I did make some scripts, it's not that hard to understand how to use them and assuming you aren't a brain-dead cretin you should be able to think of something fun.

Of course I also think that about particle effects as well because those aren't really much harder to understand than scripts.

I did play project reality a bit, never saw the point in it, the BF2 engine is really unresponsive and the mod felt like a really shaky beta, but I gather that was intented. Don't see the appeal, if I want that kind of thing armed assault is better at it.
