Hi volks! Ive got an issue to start running an empires server on my amd 64bit ubuntu 8.04 server. This is the errormassage i get when i start the empires server: CRASH: Fri Dec 19 19:52:46 CET 2008 Start Line: ./srcds_amd -console -game empires -tickrate 33 +map emp_district402 +maxplayers 24 -port 27050 -ip 78.46.86.80 -debug #0 0x00000000 in ?? () No symbol table info available. End of Source crash report The other gameservers on my server are working fine with no problems, these are: Left 4 Dead, Zombiemaster 1.2, Counterstrike Source and Natural Selection. Do you guys know how to fix it?

Did it create a core dump? You can upload it somewhere and give me the URL or give me SSH access to the Linux box (even better). I don't have any AMD64 computers to try it myself. Also: are you sure that you use Orange Box version of the engine? Did you download TF2 server with steam -command update -game tf?
I have downloaded TF now and it works. there is no note in the download description that u have to install TF to run the game, i hope u guys fix that soon. Thx for the help!
No, there is no note about it, this is all what u can see: Download Empires Server software! Select this option if you want to run a dedicated server for Empires on either Linux or Windows. You must have Source Dedicated Server installed and have downloaded ea for it.
