I think this would be totally totally totally awesome. As you load the next map, or next to the score board, you would get the awards: Most kills Most deaths CV Killer Tank Killer Helper (most non destructive points) Head Hunter (headshots) (?) Winning Commander (person on winning team in command for the longest amount of time) Or we could go for other types of ones such as Longest Range Kill - 335 meters - Solokiller Most kills in 5 seconds - 4 - Dizzyone even better, for the best combination, we could have some that always come up (winning commander, CV killer) and then other ones (tank killer, Helper) that only appear if winner of that award wins spectacularly. so if most kills is 12, it won't be more than the threshhold (40) required to put it on the end game board etc
Seems more like a plugin deal to me. I don't particularly care for awards since they detract from the teamplay element and you'd get people hunting for awards much like BF2. Now we have more of a feeling that it's been a team effort instead of a solo fragfest that won through. But on private servers it's fair game I suppose.
I'd say just make this be a really, really easy thing to make a plugin for. Make sure that various things (like engy build points, engy deconstruct points, scout sabotage points) can easily be tracked. Then, someone else can popularize a plugin of this sort.
limit them to: most revives most sabotages best squad leader best squad member (stayed in leaders aura the longest) and things like that
