How much pressure would that put on the game compared to the way it currently stands with turrets going black/just disappearing? I looks very nice.
Likely none on the server, or even less. Those bits wouldn't have any more collision than the wall pieces right now. Client-side, you may want to stay away from turret farms with your nuke tank if you've got a Pentium 4 with 256MB of memory. =P

I was playing on the [Viper] server when randomly it divides by zero(in the background you can kinda see(not that visible) what it looks like when your looking through a skybox leak).
Siro, do this next for tanks. Something like in Halo 3, where the turret gets blown off and the tank flings off armour plating.
I nominate siro as a dev, the Designer of Death, to specialize in the destruction of turrets and tanks.
i still got no response from the devs, wheter they like it or not. I offered to model everything, but nobody cares. conclusion: no custom gibs in near future
