Isn't it well known to anyone who's been playing more than a month that base bitching is one of the single most effective ways to whore points?

 

Don't get me wrong, I love to whore points and shit but at the end of the day there's a difference between a guy who is mid board and does all the big things to win the game and the guy who is on top of the scoreboard and does all the little things.

 

Their score?

Base bitches keep a team running smooth as butter. A lot of little things like repairing buildings, building the comm walls and dropping ammo really can make the difference in a game.

I don't know what you're talking about. Our point system is absolutely perfect. It perfectly measures a player's complete contribution to their team. That's why we base skill unlocks and wages around it. Duhhhh.

 

I think the guy that actually wins his team the game is the real mvp. I hate to say it but if you're on your only spawn being a rush APC and you land the stun on their comm, you're the true mvp. Score doesn't matter.

There's no way that's right. The point system is perfect and it perfectly measures all player accomplishments. There couldn't possibly be a time where the point system doesn't accurately measure player output because then the entire wage & skill unlock systems would be tarnished and we know that those work perfectly as well. Therefore the point system must be perfect.

You know, your discussion with Spart aside, I've played plenty of games where no one on the team would build anything. They'd run past unbuilt buildings, turrets, refineries, armouries, vf's, even raxes, because they weren't the right class for it and couldn't be bothered to be that right class.

I've seen teams fail because no one built any of those things. And I've personally been responsible for building all those things myself, and the team has won.

The MVP isn't the person who's taken all the glory, the mvp is that person who repaired your apc so you could do it.

 

But who built the vehicle factory? how can someone be so bad they don't even know how the game works.

 

It's a team game, there is no mvp.
Sure some people will have higher impact than others(visible or otherwise) but at the end of the day, in a 20v20 a single player isn't gonna win the game alone.
