Nuclear Dawn

So why aren't you faggots playing Nuclear Dawn? Its like empires except its going to constantly be updated and be retail.

Just saying. Empires is cool and all, but this game actual has a community that isn't insanely elitist.

 

If the game becomes good, I'll play it more. Unfortunately it gets pretty boring after playing for a couple days.

I enjoyed what I played of ND but I have no idea what you're smoking there. It's an entirely different game, it's not like Empires in any way at all. The RTS aspect is entirely different, and it's infantry only, no vehicles (yet), not to mention that all the "refs" are just flag capture points. It's only really similar to Empires if Empires is just district402.

And given that the game is new, it doesn't have a community yet, not a set-in one, it just has people who are playing it because it's new. Make a judgement on the community in 6 months time.

 

Nuclear Dawn is fun. If you don't think so, you're playing it wrong.

And yeah Nuclear Dawn lacks tanks and jeeps. and big maps. And custom content. And mootant.

If they make the game bigger I'll play it over Empires.

 

Let me give you my advice, Haji. Steam will refund that game for you if you ask. You WILL get bored of that game after a short amount of time if you haven't got bored already, so just get your money back.

Nuclear dawn may look nice and all, but BF3 is coming out, and id rather play that over both games, although i love empires.

And whats wrong with our community? other then our selfdestructive tendancys.

 

Basically everything that ends with -try.

 

Wanting new players while hating new players. Noone helping test then complaining that the balancing updates aren't balanced. Spectator. Stacking. Toying with newbie-only teams in heavily stacked games(LV3 MG spam, capturing enemy CV but ignoring it and camping outside of enemy base, etc).

 

empires wouldn't be the same without its weird community. also nd needs a lot of work on it to make it fun.

 

i heard it was like eastborough (good) without revives (bad). so it's like insurgent divine cybermancy without the charm of either and costing more than all combined several hundred times.
