This reminds me that a lot of Battleships were fitted with Nuclear shells. They prolly just took 280mm cannon used on a ship and mounted it on a mobile platform.

No actually this was a major part of the artillery race and it was inspired by the Paris gun that was made by Nazi Germany in WWI the Russians and Americans experimented with the idea to launch nuclear shells.
It was funny at first then it got boring, then I looked at this. Well I can't seem to find the massive pic of a couple BE heavys getting patricled to death by the first edition of empty's nuke particles that were bigger then they were now. Can someone post it for me?
