Not sure if its a bug

When I started Empires Mod (currently using version 1, not sure if its the newest version) I tried to run the only server on the list (for the first time) and, it gave me a mesage saying that my (map name) differed from the (map name) on the server. So I closed the program, opened the source directory and removed all installed maps, assuming that when I ran the program again, it would just download the servers version of the map, and i could play it. What am I doing wrong?

 

Nevermind, I just realized in the change log that in version 1.04, they replaced emp_canyon. Thanks anyways.

 

Crap now its saying that i dont have Emp_crossroads... help me guys please.

No.
You has't have to install Empires 1.0 and then patch 1.04 and all should be fine.

Im on holiday and have just done 3 hours of reviesing + bord atm and cant be asked to play Empires (lol no offence :p)

The bump gave hillbilly 2 points of infraction for comming up with something really frustrating to do that wassen't on the list of options in the infraction menu!
