If I make some chunks, export all of the models. Could somebody compile them? so that we can release this biz
Uh photoshop. I've been active as a leveldesigner/texture artist in several mods. Currently NoMoreRoominHell. So I know my way around in photoshop
I mean did you draw them or use photographs, and if you did draw them, do you know any tutorials on a good technique. I suck at texturing and I'm not really sure how to go about improving it because I don't know where to start.
I just use pictures from cgtextures.com - Tile them - Blend various textures - Play with the contrast/brightnes/hue - Dodge/Burn highlights and shadows. And there we have it.
Yeah I thought how complicated it would be, and how silly it might look since every wall would have to have the same chunk missing. Still, might be worth trying for both nf and be walls, a little crouch hole to fire through.
3 things: 1. I like it 2. I think the metal portion should be a little bit large and concrete a bit smaller 3. Please make a normal map for this, so my GTX 280 makes it look pretty in game. Also, maybe add a little bit of red-brown ish hue to that section under the plates.
You would need to do the same for BE walls. It would be very unbalanced if BE walls served as walls and NF walls served as fortified gunports.
I feel ignored and unwanted and is that text just there for the screenshot? It wouldn't look very good in game.
I'd guess it's just there for the screenshot (he may be sharing on other sites to get better critique), since the text is casting a shadow (it can't be flat on the wall). It even looks like it's floating.
Is it possible to get those collision boxes to not suck? Cause the BE one have a mildly different shape from a cuboid and they have horrendous collisions.
