nf medium mockup perhaps?

The current BE Med is damn sexy. Making the NF med sexy may be difficult however.

I'm not saying MAKE THE IS-3, I'm suggesting a medium that follows a design aesthetic similar to it. Stuff like the bulky, rounded armour, the low, wide turret that is placed forward on the chassis (essential both for continuity with the NF tanks as the LT has a forward placed turret, as does both the new and old NF heavy, and differentiation between BE and NF with mayama's new BE models sporting turrets placed far back on the chassis) and the generally low, menacing profile. (something the current medium is lacking, as it looks like all the worst bits of a leman russ, exaggerated)

The Beast looks set to dominate whatever tank it sits alongside, and it gives the impression of being an ancient relic of glory past... the NF medium on the other hand, could be freshly built, representing the sometimes unavoidable blend of old and new, the spirit of Jekotia reborn.

Or something.

Either that, or it could just look cool.

There is also the importance of medium tanks in future versions to take into consideration, the concept of mediums as main battle tanks instead of a stopgap before heavies is becoming a lot more popular. NF needs to have a viable medium tank that can contend with the BE medium (perfect, even if it is a leopard 2 ripoff), and that means it has to have a similar profile.

WOW IS-3 was always my favorite tank and i would love to see a NF version of it maybe as a heavy rather than a medium since its such a beast although i do like be medium more than any tank

 

Don't say that, Jekotia (KILLX) will come in and berate you for mocking older work. He has done already for that exact picture.

I LOVE this tank. It will also work alot better with some of the ideas I've been tossing around. I might alter it a bit but basically I think this might be it.

Can't really say out in the open.

 

It's a bit basic, it doesn't exactly look like anything, it's just a tank.

It doesn't have any distinguishing characteristics basically, it's just a generic tank, nothing about it looks interesting, although it does look like a more or less realistic tank so points for acheivement on that part.

 

that was my idea actually, be med is a generic tank overall but still a recognisable theme

nope, i did not really used anything specific as inspiration like that

i just looked at how the tanks look now in the game and how i remembered some cool tanks to look





i added a cool armored cockpit, to reduce the shift in style of the other tanks

Well the NF remind of Russia and BE remind of USA for some reason, USA had tanks built for defense and Russia had tanks for blitzkrieg so we need low profile tanks
