Maybe, if 2.2 is going to be awesomeness like I expect it will be, we should organize some kind of advertisement for it to try and snag some new regs. Just a though.

I SUGGEST, if 2.2 is going to be awesomeness like I expect it will be, we should organize some kind of advertisement for it to try and snag some new regs. What will this idea encourage, for good or ill? It will encourage more people to play. Is it helping teamwork or hindering it? Helping, more players more/bigger teams more oppertunities for team play. Is the game more tactical/fun for its inclusion? N/A. Are you adding this because you are bored by something? No. Is it something that you just find hard to use in game? No. Does it help balance the game does/ does it unbalance it? N/A. Does it promote teamwork rather than individual skill? It promotes both, more people means more freedom to segregate into different playing styles. There, now it is all 'official' like. This isn't the first suggestion to not pertain to direct game modification...
Those people will be filtered out as well. But on the original topic, there will be a news post on the front page and various HL2/modding/other gaming websites, like there always is.
Ok lets act this is actually a suggestion for the game, and not a general Empiresmod thread. More oppurtunities does not guarrantee it, this suggestion might as well hinder it as much as it helps, the more people there are, on average the more teamwork could be hindered, this isn't objective, its your opinion, seeing you made this thread, your opinion was obvious. Wait, wasnt this a suggestion for the game? How could it not affect the game? In the same way as your last point, this could as well make it more tactical or fun, because theres more oppurtunity as there are more players! So the fact you did not make the connection between more people and tactic/fun, but did make the connection between more people and teamwork, should show that it had absolutely no weight and you're just talking out of your ass to prove a point (which you do not seem to be unfamiliar with) Might as well just close this thread seeing over 50% of the posts are off-topic.
i know guys, lets MAKE A TRAILER!!!!!1111111111111111 A sucessful trailer would be nice, without the person disappearing into space and time. I'd make one, though i only have 8GB of hardrive space, not enough for a source record.
lol no can do, but i can surely use some of it in the trailer! :eek: I honestly don't know where all my space has gone. I could record the demo's but someone would need to compile them for me. If someone can, then i'd be more than happy to film
A trailer is a great idea. I might have some time for video editing if extra was needed. I also have plenty of web space for hosting project files (excluding raw video). I am as well in game pretty much at least once a night if the director of a trailer has an acting debut for me. Ask and you shall recieve. ... Who has got Gmod working for Empires? I bet that'd be of some help...
