a truck, something like an APC but all the passengers can shoot out like a jeep but can also be shot like a jeep. Advantages are it will be less expensive and should be a good alternative to APCs but hold more people then a jeep. it should be easily destroyed but faster then a APC.
The truck should also have a option to equip garbage disposal equipment. Then it can go around recycling dead vehicles for resources. But it only works on monday mornings between the hours of 6am and 11 am
Jeeps can already do this, yet people doesn't use them as such.. So why add another transport that won't be used?
Jeeps cant do this at all, the BE one only carries 1 person and the NF one has vision blocking rollbars and lots of hitboxes around you that cause your rpg to blow up in your face over half the time. A non spawnpoint truck with health and ammo regen for all passengers and open seats for all passengers to shoot out of would be completely new to the game. Useful is another matter, but there's nothing that can do the same in empires right now.
It appears to me that you are demanding something that makes sense. Would you like to: 1. Stop? 2. Play something else?
Hmm, the idea and concept itself isn't a bad idea, granted its use will be the main thing. What's to stop someone from lobbing a mortar into the bed and taking out every passenger? Other than that, being a real mobile gunboat could be useful. Having multiple classes able to fire out of a moving vehicle to add a very strong stream of fire to anything pursuing or in LoS of the passengers could indeed be useful.
tis be a great idea. nothing else does this, and gives infantry a way to be more fearsome to vehicles and able to take cover while shooting back. screw party buses, we now have party trucks with everyone on the team in it! also a mortar or two to the back area killing most if not all the players in the truck would be a good thing. it gives a balance weakness. this reminds me of my thought that empires could use a behemoth style tank. something crazy expensive but essentially game ending. i'm thinking dual 3-slot cannons, dual 3-slot MG's, and dual 3-slot missile slots. paired with a maximum armor capacity of 10 plates / side, and a 3-slot engine. sure, it sounds ridiculous but its weight limit would not allow dual nukes and much of anything else. so while it is capable of a lot, the weight capacity is still low enough so it isn't some sort of rolling death. for pricing a $5000 minimum price makes it attainable, sometimes, but expensive enough to make the team think twice about buying one if they can't really afford it. and don't forget the research required to obtain it. again, while the "behemoth tank" would be very powerful, compared to everything else it's pricing is atrocious. such a vehicle would have the space for 4 players including the driver possibly. but the passengers would not be exposed - rather they would be able to see out their viewport for their side - left, right, and rear. 'fore you say its a dumb idea, ponder about how it would behave in a match. think about how something like that would behave.

i want every infantryman to ride on a kitten into the battle so you have fearsome kittenriders who may shoot from the back of the kittens. well i guess at least u would hit something doing so, other then shooting from a driving vehicle of someone else...
