I dont know man, I didnt pick anything up to be honest. I even dared to go on a, seeingas anons actually managed to get me interested last time in a show that i ended up really liking. Alas, it seems to be back into it's repetitve shit thread spams mode along with high doses of unmanly colours that i can't stand. Also threads that make me question humanity.
The only reason I browse their /a/ section is because they get news first before my network does. And its funny to look at retarded people. I keep on a few generals, and I browse the /tg/ section on occasion when I am looking for ideas to do a campaign on. Otherwise, I browse the flash section daily.
You killed it, dude if you didn't want to keep playing just say so and I would have replaced the commanding position. I got a few Pm's asking to bring it back.
Beats me, seeing as how you're in every thread on these forums, along with mcgyver, spartacus, candles, myself, truckstar, viroman, teef, alucard(after the thread is officially dead of course)... oh god I've been watching the same 8 or 10 people arguing stupid things to each other for like an entire year now.
...Thanks for putting that in perspective. You'd think they would run out of things to argue about, but nope. As for DnD, me and a friend run a pathfinder campaign with some other people we know. When you play with people who want the same thing out of the game as you do, it's amazing. However, if your group consists of one hardcore RP fanatic (for example, plays a religious character and remains super serious all the time and rants about heathens and abominations in the eyes of their deity), one guy who is there for the lulz (I can do anything? Sweet, are there any newts around? I want to duel a newt.), one guy who just sort of likes the combat aspect of the game, and a person who is pretty much just along for the ride, then it sucks. Luckily, our group is all pretty much on the same wavelength. We don't really take it super serious, and we try and keep the campaign pretty light. For instance, newt dueling is actually a key component in our campaign's story.
Hardcore RPers put me off a lot, I like RP when it's having to talk to NPCs, solving puzzles or mysteries, or whatever, but a lot of the time the hardcore RPers try to drown everyone at the table in backstory(that is, his character's backstory) and using words like "mirth" and "heathen". Example: The final part of this webcomic. And I wish I could somehow make the people who are in it for teh lulz understand that, whilst they think they are genuinely hilarious, nothing they do is funny. ah, the pains of trying to find a decent DnD group.
I sort of want to do this. Minus the face cam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRvAIH0cRsk I have a team-speak all too myself, so nobody would bother us. And I also have a live-stream account I can use so everybody has a visual. If you guys are serious, send me a pm and ill let everyone know when I will schedule a play session.
Live stream? As in you want to put a camera in front of the table? Or you simply mean everybody= anyone not actually playing.
As you saw what the guy was doing if you bothered clicking the video. He was using a program for dice rolls, and was using spread sheets and everybody saw what he was doing.
