New Smoke and explosion sprites.

    I think he meant that green smoke/explosions are usually attributed to biological weaponry in other games of this genre.

    Umm...yes. That big green explosion will be for the bio. :gasmask:

    On another note I now have normal/HE, plasma, and bio done. I need to think of something good for seismic.

    To bad for seismic yo couldnt put in some kind of shockwave...But thats a bit more complex than a sprite.

    Star Wars - Ep 2 has really good seismic explosions. Try to copy them.

    Is it just me that thinks the bio is a bit too green? I had visions of a pretty normal looking explosion, with a green core, and a sort of green 'after-taste' if you know what I mean. Maybe you could even replace the standard scorch marks for it with some kind of bacterial growth.

    I think I like the current smoke puffs... If only they were a little more transparent so you could actually see what you're aiming for :)

    but...

    that new sprite smoke by RULEZ, it'l make the RPG feel so much more poowerful reckon

    Well, if we're on the topic of making the weapons feel more powerful, I went back and replaced the weapon sounds with my own, and now it actually feels like my SMG can kill someone :D

    I thought the current RPG smoke was actually damn impressive, me and my team spent ages having fun trying to spell our names in the smoke and firing into the sky for the hell of it.

    I have noticed that occasionally you wont get any smoke...

    Now I like that idea. :D

    I've already added little bits of colored flame that float around for a second after the main explosion as well.

    Maybe seismic scorch could be cracked concrete. Seems appropriate enough.

    A suggestion, could there be a Side explosion? Since explosions more out faster than up... Im going for realizm here.

    I also like the plamsa looks great.

    Well I finally go the scorch marks to work, sort of. They only work on models. :/

    Looks great!
    Um, for the red explosion (Whatever that is), it looks a little too red. Like it's pure fire. Could use more orange. I don't mean the ones you recently did, I mean the ones you featured earlier? Several days ago with a picture of a red explosion on district.

    Your latest pics look great! I just felt those red explosions looked unreal or maybe like they had some kind of strange powder (like a firework almost).

    Also, your scorched texture reminds me of a glitch in Company of Heroes where the blast mark textures get messed up, and all of the scorched earth textures become a big purple sign saying "BIG EXPLOSION". lol
