To encourage teamwork while using tanks, we need to organize squads in their vehicles. The solution is simple. Add a new feature to the game. When two or more tanks are lined up, front to back behind each other, in a line, the following things will happen. Their speed will increase substantially, to avoid aircraft (such as choppers) and enemy vehicles (henceforth called "Bears.") The collision damage the lead truc-er, tank will sustain is reduced, to encourage breaking through things like wall sections, turrets, and... tollbooths, the usual. The primary firing slot of the tank is eliminated, be it cannon or missle, and replaced by a close range- high damage, high splash radius, weapon, henceforth known as the "Trucker Bomb." It looks remarkably similar to a common object found in trucks, be it plastic bottle or glass jar. It looks like it's filled with urine and tossed out the door of the tank, but of course this is a futuristic high explosive stored in a high-tech storage device and deployed manually. And, of course, all taunt commands will be replaced by the lyrics from the song "Convoy." "This here's a rubber duck, come on!" "We got a great big coooooonvoooooy, *something something* through the night! We got a great big cooooooonvooooooy, ain't she a beautiful sight?" No one's gonna get this joke but me, will they?
The picture you forum in my head is almost as ugly as these new fourms. ALMOST ALMOST ALMOST AMLOST #$^@#$#$%@gq:mad:
Or you could have tanks within a certain radius of each other with different kinds of armor impart a certain bonus. Or better yet, people can realize the benefit of four tanks together, regardless of any extra bonuses?
sounds a bit like "c&c generals" when chinese tanks and troops come together they get bonuses such as better fireing rates
