Brenodi Squad Support Rifle - 20 shots a clip, an assault rifle instead of a drum clip it has just a regular clip, has a longer barrel then the normal assault rifle, has a bipod for cool looks. It carries larger caliber bullets, so higher damage and longer range pretty low rate of fire (500 RPM). Deals 25-40 damage (bodyshot close range/full damage). The weapon is used mostly on prone mode, but is usable while standing/crouch it will have negative effects on it but is nothing like the HMG. Brenodi SMG3 - Appearance should be based nearly like the MP7 but with a more Empires look (RL gun). It carries 50 small caliber shots a clip fires at 1500 rpm but deals very little damage just like the machine pistol, and just like it too very inaccurate. So basically this weapon should only be used for close combat and is used by both Engineer and Scout. Brenodi Standard Pump Action Shotgun - A standard shotgun used extensively by Brenodi Soldiers, it's a simple long barreled shotgun carrying 5 shots. The scatter is the same size of those of a shotty pistol and deals the same damage. The way it reloads isn't by 1 shell by 1 shell but with a clip of shells. The reload is quite slow even by clip but it pays off with the ability to be used by all classes except grenadier. Northern Faction Assault Auto-Shotgun - 12 shots a clip, the assault shotgun is a drum fed shotgun which fires at full auto, (200 rpm). deals 115 damage if all the pallets hit the target (aka pointblank shot). The recoil of the Assault Shotgun is pretty high but not as bad as the HMG at least, and is not recommended to fire at long range. The scatter is very huge, two and a half times more scatter then the shotty pistol. The weapon can be used on any stance without much change of accuracy, but will affect the recoil reasonably. This weapon should be used by both Rifleman and Scouts. Northern Faction .45 Magnum - Simple 6 shot powerful revolver, probably leftovers from the last war in Empires (story). Moderately Accurate the 9mm pistol is still much better, the damage done by the magnum is magnificent and is comparable to the 50.cal Semi Auto Rifle. The Magnum is somewhat semi auto, even though not as fast as the 9mm, due to it's high recoil it's still best suited for close/medium range combat. Armor Types - Honestly I believe all class should have their choice of armor. No Armor - Run 15% faster, 10% faster reload, jumping cost 20% less stamina, takes full damage. Light Armor - Run 10% faster, 10% faster reload, jumping cost 20% less stamina, reduces damage intake by 10% Medium Armor - Normal run speed, Normal reload speed, normal jumping stamina, reduces damage intake by 20% <- standard armor Heavy Armor - 20% slower, 20% slower reload, jumping cost 10% more stamina, reduces damage intake by 30%, sprinting takes up 10% faster. Very Heavy Armor - 30% slower, 25% slower reload, jumping cost 50% more stamina, reduces damage intake by 50%, Recoil is decreased (so guns won't go flying upwards as much), Accuracy decrease by 15%, sprinting is disabled.
Yeah, you need to think carefully about skill combos when suggesting about buffing classes. A rifleman with the stuff baal said would become an imbalanced infantry turret.
What makes Heavy armor better? You just sacrificed all your speed/agility for taking in like 2-4 more bullets. Also you take longer to reload so being a turret is pretty so-so with heavy armor. The heavy armor in my brains, is designed and should be used by APC shock troops, you get driven into the middle of a fight you jump out and guns blazing. Light/no armor is just there if you want to Rush!!! with super speed!
Considering how hard it is to kill riflemen with dig in at the moment, giving them 40% more damage resistance (they have 10% currently) means they could easily be almost twice as hard to kill, depending on how the maths works. That's more damage than a lot of classes can realistically do with a full clip. In your mind is probably nothing like in the game.
In an internal JPL game it took 3 enemys constantly firing at me for a vew seconds to take me down with dig in and health upgrade. Thats why even more armor is overpowered. Considering your weapon suggestions, you dont give any reason why the game would play better with those weapons. The only reason for adding them seem to be "cause i want"
