Anyone else having a lot crashes since 2.21 release? I can't even finish map now without 3-4 crashes. Have noticed same for all steam games multi-player or single....
upload the crashdumps to mantis. Some more text: And if you can give a detailed description about what you did just before it crashes. Example a player had a crash yesterday on escort, the crashdump said that it was in the gui code of the commander, since there is no comm that crash was very mysterious, until he told the devs that, he pressed 8 just before the crash and that 8 is usually bound to the vehicle view in the commander. Now the devs know what exactly caused the crash and they can fix it in a very short time. Without that they might have been searching for days without finding something. And since you are a tester you are expected to write down if you crash and what happened before you did. Second edit: In my opinion its not a right to be a tester it is a privilege, none earns that just by being here, but by being helpful and good for the development of the game. /rant
testing and crashes Most of the crashes i'm experiencing are before even joining a game. Just being on the server. Still happens. As far as being tester i could move on real easy luv the game and all but there are very few can claim as many test hours or play hours as me. VERY FEW. Excepting a few 3 month dissappearances. Mostly due to community issues a few (BSID) member thrashings....blah blah....drama..... i've been here 4-10 hrs a day....blah.blah....and yes testing is a privilege also and a nice one. I started this thread to get feedback before posting to mantis....in case someone else all ready had posted. Been flamed for even that before.....NM I'll go crawl back into my hole and shut up now
No sorry that last line was more like a general rant, I just felt like ranting that time, dunno why, It just seemed right at 4am.
