I need someone to make a normal map out of a black and white image that i made. The current image tiles 100% perfectly. I don't know if all normal mapping software does this automaticly but the normal map must also tile perfectly of course. The way my old software made calculations it tiled well from the start. I'd very much appreciate some help with this, as i can't do it myself. I even dare to ask to, if possible, make 2 or 3 normal maps but with ranging depth values, so that i can test ingame which depth works best. I cant make it cause for some reason my photoshop CS4 refuses to accept the Nividia Bump Map plugin but if you have Photoshop yourself you can try to use that plugin. Works fine for me, especially because photoshop allows you to paint in the Normal Map and you can use the plugin to correct the colors after you worked with the Picture. http://developer.nvidia.com/object/photoshop_dds_plugins.html
I haven't got PS unfortunately Tried downloading one but it had a virus, and i'm not brave enough for a second attempt.
