Seriously, what the fuck? To my experience every anime sucks, now I'll have to review my opinion. If you haven't watched it before you-fucking-should. Especially from an avid anime-hater (seriously, can't stand all- I mean, 99% of the shit) I can hardly believe it myself that I'm actually recommending a piece of anime.


So... watch it!

The anime is Ok. They really cut it short and changed a lot of stuff from the manga.

 

I love that film. Especialy the giant warrior.

I've got it on DVD but haven't watched it yet...did you see the other Miyazaki films like Princess Mononoke and Spirited away and thought they were crap then?

 

Princess Mononoke was meh... it was okay, but the animation was shitty, as is usual with anime. And it was drawn with just about zero detail (bitch and whine all you want about that, it's still lazy cartooning). The story was okay, I guess. Same with Ghost In The Shell and Akira. But Nausicaä just blew me away. The drawing style was a whole lot finer as well.

 

I'll have to watch it soon then...and make comparisons against the other good anime i've seen :p

 

well ive enjoyd it quite much and even all that peace/love/enviroment bullcrap couldnt fuck the story up, it was really really good.

has someone seen paprika here?

 

Was awesome, say the original Japanese one, then a few years later saw english dubbed one.
