My brother called me today to tell me that our steam account is not working anymore. I tried to login today and it gave me a message that said that our steam account has been disabled. I did not receive any emails about it or anything and I looked on the help site but I didn't see anything to help. This is really serious. What should I do?
I heard of Steam doing this before, to clear space. Just getting rid of a chunk of accounts. I don't know how credible this is though.
Your account might have been hijacked, happened to me almost a year ago, anyways just contact them & give them info like a photo scan of your CD key & a receipt, with an explanation of your current situation, wait for an e-mail & wait around five days.
If you were using the account at the same time in two locations, and were trying to play a game at the same time, and you have been doing that for a while, it can be banned for account sharing. I know, it happened to me 2 years ago
