If you mean inside the actual mortar crosshair that green transparent layer has been in since forever. Even I can see it too.

 

Are you guys looking at a different picture or something? He means the giant green square (which isn't supposed to be there), not the crosshair itself.

 

You usually don't notice it because there are no dark areas like that spot in escort.

For some reason that green hud thing is much more transparent on my new card, it's pretty annoying.
