Missing map or different class list

Whenever I try to join a server I get the error missing "insert map".bsp or server is using different class list. I'm sure I've updated the game properly to the last patch.

I tried to delete the maps in the maps folder, but alas..the same error.

I tried searching for a fix, but only came up with a post complaining about poor fps-.-

 

99% of errors like this are because people haven't installed all the patches in the proper order. So even if you installed it properly, try reinstalling.
And just to check, you installed v1.0 ->v1.07 -> v1.073, correct?

 

I reinstalled the game three times now. The last time I got working, cause I did NOT install the last patch this time. Last one seems to bug the game for me:S

 

V1.073 is servers only, don't install it unless you want to create servers.

 

Erm, v1.071.

I don't think a 100 people have installed this game <filler>

 

It's more.. I would guess around 200 to be on the safe side
a lot of the people don't play regularly and some of them not at all and are waiting for the next patch

 

I'm suprised the amount of idiots we get who can play empires and have bad grammer, while the ones who can speak properly seem to end up here.

I have the same problem keeps coming up with 'missing map' or 'class table incorrect' i have installed all the updates in the right order but it doesnt seem to work!! HELP!

my windows crashed big time so I needed to install Windows again.. (and delete my fedora core 6 installation)
