whenever i try to join the rc15 server, it gets to finishing joining, and the thing crashes instantly saying: The command at "0x4fdf6040" referenced memory at "0x4fdf6040". Memory could not be "read" ... what do i do?:(

Click to find out more info on the problem, and then see what dll it lists as being the source.

Precisely the same problem, i even get into the game to the point where i can read one line of text written by a player.

note: i installed all the RCs up to 14 using the zip file posted on mydrive.ch
then installed the last rc15, that could be the problem... im not sure

Did you use the zip file to install up to 14, cause thats what i did, and i have a feeling that might be the problem. either that or my shitty computer.

Well, perhaps, that's it. It won't even start here. I try to reinstall.

"If you downloaded before the time of this post, redownload RC 15 and install or fix the problem yourself with the following:

move your /empires_108/player directory to /empires_108/models/player"

this is what i did and it works fine now (this was a fix listed in a different thread)
