Spotlight on Canyon Please keep vulgarities and arguments to a minimum. Post only if you have something constructive to say. This might not really render to have a spotlight thread but w/e. With the upcoming release I decided to put this out as well since ive been tinkering with it. All I really plan to do is change out the textures to more of a look with the old emp_canyon. Just having a little issuse with the rock models but that should be solved shortly. This thread just to see if there are any quick easy ideas or w/e people might have an opinion on. But for the most part this is just a texture swap.
Sunny maps are nicer. Also, some ref movement could be nice to balance things up a bit. Someone once drew up a diagram to explain, but in general the refs are too NF sided usually. I can't describe how off the top of my head but I think only 1 ref needs moving.
Needs grass. Also, water in the craters, if you are having rain. Would look awesome. Otherwise, looking good. Nice job as always keef.
Actually, if there was rain on this map, it would be even more awesome. But it needs to come down hard, like the fist of an angry god.
detailsprites plox Also, the grass texture seems to become blurry at longer distances, not a good look D: I love the rain though, nice job. Makes func_precipitation look even worse than it already does.
Rain doesn't reallly Need to be added I just put in support for it, then we have the option to do it requireing little to no effort to implment. Like duststorm we can leave to option up to the player to have the particle effects on, then they atleast have the option
