    Documentation looks neat. Good job.
    Thanks for the effort.

Two dots used correctly with a space after cd aka cd .. takes you to a higher place. :)

Here's what I'd like to do with squad, loadout and spawn select
    [IMG]

Combine all 3 into one thing, with hotkeys for selection stuff etc.

Visuals wise I'm not sure what I'd go for, a minimalistic look might be nice (I have an example in the bottom right, something similar, probably anti-aliased with nice gradients or something) but I'm not a designer so if people have ideas I'm willing to hear them out.

I don't really think we need to redesign most of the UI, just add some stuff here and there (such as a class blurb and making icons for stuff rather than dropdown boxes)

I really hate how the initial spawn takes 3 fucking popups and is annoying as shit to new players, so I think combining the critical windows will make life easier.

EDIT: This will be screen intensive though so we might end up having to bump our minimum resolution up from 1024x768 to maybe 1366x768. It's a lot wider and I don't see a way to make it more square.

I could possibly shrink the spawnmap size.

I think the removal of dropdown menus will vastly improve this game. Ignoring the fact that they are the least noticeable of all elements, it's just much more smoother if we could choose classes using tabs rather than a dropdown.

Ditto about switching between class/general skills. Fuck that thing.

the maximum size of the windows should be 1024x768. even then, a god damn window shouldnt take up your entire screen.

If I'm designing a UI it needs to be accessible for everyone.

I definitely want to aim for that. I'll play with it as much as I can to get it inside but I have concerns.

Every new UI also must scale better to 4K resolution. Some parts are teeny tiny at the moment.

Well since you can think of the UI more like website design by now, you might as well use JQuery and build it like a responsive website.

For the one person that uses a hidpi config? Just run at whatever res would be "native" to that screen size (e.g. 1440p @ 27") and call it a day.

High-dpi screens aren't even the future, they are basically becoming the standard in the industry this year. Just look at what's going on in the laptop market. A good UI must scale well over different resolutions, if we worry about 1024x768, we might as well care about 4k, which is probably more common among gamers already.

It's not my fault you decided to get a subpar 109ppi screen, when 4k was already on the horizon.
