I wanna gun and run with them not crouch all the time to use them. also the NFHR does suck dick and needs a buff
This. That's the entire point. BEAR and NFHR are ranged weapons which require you to be stationary. BEHR and NFAR are the opposite. Some people like each style of combat so I've tried to accommodate for both. I never really expected people to use both rifles because people tend to prefer one playstyle, so I expect them to just use the weapon that matches their favoured playstyle.
NFHR has the benefit that it, at maximum, takes five shots I believe to kill a Gren with Health Upgrade. At minimum, it can kill in three shots. The reason that's any good is because it's incredibly accurate even without accuracy and it has no falloff. It's the second strongest of all conventional weapons at high range, beaten only in pure damage by the Scout Rifle. However, a skilled enough person can kill faster and more effectively with the Heavy Rifle due to its much lower cycle time, and it can still be an effective weapon at closer ranges if used right.
I never use the , so i can't really say much about it. NFHR needs a buff tho, It's horrible. Especially considering its .50 cal.
I always use the BEAR get on my level. Bursting it reminds me of the good ol' BECAR which could rape anything and everything in a km radius. Spike all you need to run and gun with those weapons is turn dynamic crosshair off. That shit is pure placebo effect.
In one playtest the damage of the NFHR was buffed slightly and it turned into a scopeless sniper rifle
NFHR would probably be better with its good accuracy, were the fucking sights zeroed in correctly. I picked it up a couple of times, and jsut as bear, you have to aim not using the ironsights, but using them as a reference for another point. What the fuck.
BEAR ironsights arent that bad, at least not that I've noticed. It kills everything in front of it when ironsighted anyway. NFHR ironsights (and the whole gun) look like some kind of AA MG, just torn off its mount. Not that that's a bad thing. Edit: i meant NFHMG.
