Make a section dedicated to custom content ONLY

I know custom content threads with sounds, textures and such is posted in the "Storyline and Atmosphere" section, but how about a section dedicated to custom content only?
Would have been nice to have it all gathered in one section.

I was thinking about a section for individual uploads.
(Sub-section under "Community Content" was the thought)

most of the time download links get spammed away to fast

 

You're not going to do any better with yet another forum on top of the already existing and perfectly functional Art/Mapping/Storyline forums that contain everything that ought to exist in community content.

If you want a list of download links, make a thread for it and ask for it to be stickied.

 

I find it hard to point out which threads contain something custom for the client between all those other threads which contain community stories and such.
But whatever, currently making a list to keep everything gathered. Or at least trying.

 

yeah, empiresforums might need better rules and a hard hand at moderating in this subforums. It's like every fucking second thread derails within the first page.

 

Only idiots put them in Storyline and Atmosphere. They go in Art.

 

Harryhoot only puts his sound mods in there because he doesn't want his threads pushed to the second page in less than 12 months.

Otherwise, sound mods (and any other content) should go in Art, not Storyline and Atmosphere.
Sound is art, you should know, as is virtually every other form of useful custom content besides scripts. Heck, even stories are art, after a form. We just needed to devote a section specifically for DonMegel's fanfics.

 

Community content has 4 fucking subforums in it for whatever the hell you need.
We're not adding another forum. Use the right god damn section.
