Hi Im thinking about starting a server "Madman's 9Mine server" located in england, kent, london. Im just checking if theres any point... would anyone join the server?
Did the same with my server when napalm decided to quit. It seems they are back now though and for all the players that play there none of 'm comes back to my server. Dunno what your server would be like but I'm afraid it will be a bit of the same there
problem is that when i try to join its always empty, and i check 5x per day spread over the whole day
If 2.2 gets advertised at all (which tbh I'm hoping it won't) it might bring more players and give other servers a chance. Atm, tricksters server is pretty much the dominating server because it is heavily admined and has a decent map rotation. When the new UI gets implemented and aircraft come out, you can bet your ass about 100 more players will come over, and if the devs can't increase server slots to more than 48, we'll need more servers.

What do you expect? You were wasting resources. Guess what? Thats griefing. And if you say that NF were losing anyway, A) Thats still griefing, and B) They won after you were banned. As it stands, you got a one week ban that will not be lifted.
I reduced it to 2 days, If I see this shit again, I won't be so nice. Also, we only dominate euro side, nachos generally take the other side of the atlantic. But yes, between our 2 servers, there isn't much room elsewhere.
Madman, you should really play some more empires before making a server. Build up a good reputation and learn all the features of the game. No one wants a noobish/idiotic/griefing admin, and as it stands now, thats all you are...
