    We has a carpenter now.

    All we need is a stonemason, a fisherdwarf, 2 miners, a craftsdwarf and a random dwarf, and we can start our own fortress.

    i hate plump helmets, they are like "the answer to everything" early on

    you should be able to make wine from carcasses (blood)

    You didn't bring a woodcutter... I'm not sure what good those trees are going to do the carpenter without a woodcutter.

    Carpenters are generally woodcutters on embark unless you have a dwarf to spare for woodcutting. You only need 7 beds then he can get to work clearing the forests to build up a wood stockpile.

    no, 'woodworkers' can be a combination of three skills, carpenters are carpenters.
